Welcome to the studio team at That Untitled Project. I’m excited to have y’all teaching at the studio and am so looking forward to growing this lil dance community. Below is some useful information for working with the studio along with basic info that you can refer back to whenever you need it. There’s a lot here, but I don’t want it to overwhelm you. Most of it is standard info and the rest is coupon codes and passwords.
First off, the main logistics:
Getting Paid
- Your Contract – If you haven’t yet, make sure you signed your contract.
- Fill out a W-9 and email it back to me. Alternatively, you can fill out a hard copy at the studio on your first class date. (there’s a pdf attached)
- Payroll sign up – You’ve got an email in your inbox to get signed up for direct deposits. Make sure you fill that out asap to make sure you get paid. Payday is every Monday.
Class schedule
- Overview image – An image of the current schedule is attached here.
- Individual images – I’ll be sending individual images for your classes as well if you wanna share em on social media.
- Subbing dates – If you already have dates you know you need a sub make sure to let me know asap. I already have a few dates where I’m looking for a sub (nov 13 and nov 16) too.
Studio Crew HQ
- thatuntitledproject.com/studio-crew-hq/ – This page will have all the useful updates and past studio emails for y’all to refer to.

Standard Class Stuff
- Your class – I contracted with y’all because I love your energy and you demonstrated your skill and knowledge. Run your class how you see fit as long as you do the following
- Warm up, teach skills/technique, teach choreo/combinations that utilize those skills
- Welcome and foster a healthy community especially for marginalized folks.
- Pre/Post class – I’ll be around at least for your first few weeks of class to help with this stuff (apart from the 12th when I leave town)
- pre class – please arrive 5-10 min beofre your class so you can get settled and welcome folks into the studio.
- post class – after each class please run the dry mop over the floor. If you have time to spray mop between class that’s even better but not mandatory. The studio manager or Gloria spray mopsin the morning before your class.
- empty studio – if nobody shows for class, please give it 15 min before you head out. If your class is over, make sure all participants leave or Gloria is still in studio before you head out.
- $5 Classes – Wanna take one of the other classes at the studio? All teachers get classes for $5. Use the code “studiocrew5” on any class. Contact gloria if you have issues.
Studio Use
- Solo use – you get a free hour each week for solo use in the studio. You can do your own workout, prep class, choreograph for something else, anything as long as it’s solo use. To request your time, pop on over to the studio google calendar, create your event, and invite “That Untitled Project Studio & Office” as a guest. After that I’ll accept the event to confirm your time or let you know if the studio isn’t available.
